Hi there :)

I have ordered a semi custom brian gavin ring (slight modification to one of their halo rings) and i am wondering how long it will take?
I have actually emiled them twice asking this questions but still have no reply :(
I payed for the ring and recieved a confirmation confirming they revicieved this payment last week and have heard nothing from them since.
Does anyone here have a rough estimate for me? I really have no idea what to except, just need the ring as soon as possible.

Thanks in advance

Call them - they've been slow with email lately. It's probably going to be a few weeks though. It takes them a week just to set and ship out plain diamond studs.

It took them nearly two weeks to put a diamond into a stock setting for my son in January. They may need to order in your setting, and then put it on their schedule, so I'd give them time to get it. I'm sure your money is safe.

I just received my rings from them and it was nearly 5 weeks from payment to completion. 9 days from payment before I got the CAD (including weekends) and then 23 days from the CADs before the rings were in my hands. It was not made clear to me at the start that there would be CADs so you may want to find out if they are doing that. I was originally told 2-3 weeks for production but I am guessing that may have been after the CADs? They also had some difficulty sourcing the smaller stones to match the ones I provided, which may have impacted the timeline. And every single bit of correspondence (via email) during that time was at my initiation.

Thanks for all the replys!
Unfortunately calling them is difficult for me beacuse of the time zones. It sounds like all I just need to be patient.. which is easier said than done!

I have read such amazing reviews about thier customer serivce that i guess i was expecting a bit more communication etc. Their customer service hasn't been poor it just hasn't been anything special either in my opinion.

I think the customer service used to be better. They still make brilliant jewelry so I will continue to use them but they are not quick to answer emails anymore and I've had them not answer altogether too. It was in inquiry on a price to customize a bracelet so no biggie but still a bit annoying. I'm not sure if they've just gotten too busy or what. If you want answers (and you should get them) I'd keep sending them emails.

They seem to be really nice people, expertise is great, their diamonds are fantastic, but emails are sloooow, updating their customers is Not a priority.....been there done that

I emailed BGD on Monday am and here it is Thursday am and still NO reply...so take it from there.

After the sale customer service seems lacking...I am rather disappointed.

Who are you working with at BGD? I've worked with Jamie a few times and she's always been quick to get back to me. I've never really had any issues with Lesley either. I'd give them a call and find out what's going on.

Like other's said, I'd just give them a call. They're technically open until 5 or 6 central time but I was told that some of them stay very late when I asked about when I could call in. Someone should be there who can help you.

I don't know if it makes you feel any better ... but I have emails from months ago that goes unanswered. I would really like to work with them one day but for now I have given up.

Same here. Our email chains usually end with someone from BGD promising to get back to me with an answer OR me asking a question and receiving no response. My emails were more inquiries about diamonds/ring styles so I was fine taking my business elsewhere. Other than that, I would say my interactions with BGD have been pleasant as their emails are really nice when they do answer.

Edit: I think that they are just really busy and possibly short-staffed. If it's really important to you to get an answer, I would seriously followup with calls or more emails. I'm sure they'll respond.
