Maybe I''m a bad person but I''ve been waiting for this to break.. Sorry but if you help a married man cheat or if you are a married man cheating (or woman!) then I don''t think you deserve all the praise that these two have been given. She can give all the money and time in the world but can''t respect the sanctity of marriage.. ugh.. makes me sick!

If they were never married, why would they need a separation agreement?
How can two unmarried people adopt kids. Sure they can raise them together, but doesn''t one person have to be the legal guardian?![]()

Both can be legal parents. You don''t have to be married to both be legal guardians of a child.
And they would need an agreement because they are both legal guardians of the children. And I assume they hold assets together. It''s more of a legal agreement for dividing property and custody.
But that being said I don''t believe it yet either. None of the reliable sites are reporting it yet...
Any time two people have intermingled their finances they have to divide them. When you are talking multiple properties and multi millions, you'd better believe that there will be attorneys involved. And this isn't the topic of the thread, but since lesbians and gay people still can't marry, but ANY couple can have many year long relationships that are living as if they are married, should they decide to split up, they might need the help of attorneys as well. This is becoming a bigger and bigger part of the field in Family Law with an increase of acceptance of living together instead of marriage.Date: 1/24/2010 5:23:49 PM

Yeah, if they aren't married I don't know why lawyers would be involved unless they are either preparing to marry, or writing up a Will of some kind for the sake of their kids.
So true so true, porridge! I never believe the magazines anymore until they really really really come out and admit it.Date: 1/24/2010 4:39:09 AM

I''ll believe it when they come out and admit it. I must have read about them breaking up 10 times already.
