Boyfriend doesn''t like setting

Hello all:

I''ve been trying to pick a setting for my e-ring. I finally narrowed it down to 2 settings: Vatche Royal crown and the Whiteflash Tiffany inspired knife edge ring. The problem is that my boyfriend does not like the royal crown very much (he actually made a rude comment about the way the two metal colors look together). I do really like the Tiffany style. The only thing that concerns me about the Tiffany is that I believe it will sit kind of low. So, what should I do? Should I just pick the ring that he wants? I''m not sure how I would feel about wearing such an important piece if my boyfriend did not like it.

I''m going with yellow gold if it matters to anyone.

I strongly suggest that you select a ring style that you both love. There are zillions of styles available, so why don't you guys go shopping together and keeping looking until you find the right one?

ETA - I say this because this is only the beginning of a lifetime of working together to achieve mutual goals. Best to get started on the right foot.

Totally agree with Fly Girl. Pick a setting you both like, there are thousands out there.
The last thing you want is your fiance cringing every time he looks at your hand.

Its a beautiful Setting! but make sure this is something that you really want too! Can''t wait to see your finished ring
