Bought a RB Stone! Where to get custom setting (Philly)?

After a few months of searching and delays, we finally decided on a Whiteflash ACA stone! Both my girlfriend and I have learned a ton from you guys, and the information on the forum has been essential in helping us find the right stone.

We are now looking to have the diamond set at a brick and mortar store because we want to be able to have maintenance and cleaning done periodically without shipping the ring. Does anyone have recommendations in Philadelphia (jeweler's row) for a custom platinum or Vatche setting? We thought about going to Leon Mege, but going to NY is a little far. We've read the past threads about Philadelphia, but couldn't find a clear recommendation of someone who does custom work in Philadelphia.

Call Vatche and ask for their Philly retailer (or you might be able to find it on their site). Also, NY isn't that far at all. We lived on the Jersey Shore and my husband went to DE, Philly, NY to find my engagement ring. And that just makes me smile. It's a once in a lifetime purchase. And a 1.5 hour drive. I would say it's worth a little extra effort.

I wouldn't work with Leon Mege though. He damaged two of my friends stones and didn't cop to it or tell them about it, and if they hadn't had the rings appraised afterward they never would have known. One of the diamond was fully chipped by him but hidden by a prong!

Steven Kirsch used to work with Leon and has very similar style to him, but he understands customer service and responsibility and is a much better choice IMO for someone to work with. www.timelessluxury.net
