We are taking a trip to Boston shortly and our friends want to eat at a place called Kingfish Hall in Boston. It looks tasty and also pretty costly. Has anyone eaten there? Is it any good? I don''t want to waste my money if it''s not worth it. Thanks
I haven''t been to Kingfish, but I''ve been to other Todd English restaurants. With the sole exception of Figs on Charles street, they''ve been solidly very good, but also very, very expensive. There are plenty of places in Boston that are as good and a better value. At Figs I had pizza and beer, and it was quite good and not totally unreasonably priced.
I agree with mercoledi. If you''re going to be in the Fanuiel Hall area of the city, why not go over to the North End for dinner? It''s really a ''Boston'' experience! There are lots of options at different price points and it''s within walking distance of Fanuiel Hall.
