Boston Jeweler?

Hi ho - we are expanding our Asscher search.

Our local jeweler told us today they will only bring in 2 diamonds at a time (and they list 8 in their inventory we want to see). Sigh....

We are having a hard time finding a day when we can make the 6-8 hour (at least) round trip to GOG and thus have set our sights on Boston (only an hour away).

Does anyone know of a great diamond dealer at the Jewelry Exchange or elsewhere in the Boston area? I moved away ten years ago, so I''m a bit out of the loop now and am worried they may have gone the way of the dinosaurs....

A retailer who appreciates a marginally diaeducated person would be a bonus. I''m tired of knowing more than the person behind the counter. I also plan to bring my new ASET and IdealScope along (they arrive on Wednesday!

Try E.B. Horn on Washington Street, right near the Jewelers'' Building. A neighbor of mine got her ering there and said she''d gone looking with certain specs in mind. I don''t know whether ALL of the sales people there are great, but I bet you''ll find one who will play with you.
