My best friend told me about tension settings in Belgium.
After search on this forum and google, I ask you.

Were you and your friend in Belgium or were the tension settings in Belgium?

What are you asking us Stephan?

Here is my fiance's wedding ring-to-be...similar....his will be wider, more around 7mm or similar and also the stone will be a .30c or similar ACA round brilliant. Should be amazing in person! It's matte finish titanium with a gold stripe.

I wouldn't recomend a tension setting for a 3ct. It will be overly heavy and thick.

Designing a tension setting for a three-carat stone should be a pleasant challenge: it may not turne out with the same outline as above. After all, small stones can be suspended within the width & thickness of the band, while large stones cannot. Simply building a similar simple band for a 3 carater will probably turn a weird rezult, but this is not likely to be the approach. Nice challenge though!

Here is one solution...on my 1000th post!

Hehe...
Sorry, it wasn't a clear question.
I heard about tension settings in Belgium but I don't know where.
Yes, it will probably be to heavy, Giangi.
Nice to see you!
Thank you all for the pics!

So, Giangi, do you have any idea for a man setting with prongs? It seems to be so difficult... I find nothing on the market.

Giangi?

Oh gosh, sorry! Didn't meant to ignore you, Step!
Mmmmmmh... Personally, I'm not too into man rings... But from what I have seen most of man's rings with large diamonds are bezel set.

Yes, Giangi.
But I don't like bezel settings.
They make your diamond look smaller.
And they are difficult to clean.

You've made good points. So you would prefer soemthing with prongs?
Maybe you could find a semi-tension ring that is not too heavy... There are some...
