I don''t have a large budget and since I am looking at a bluenile diamond, I think I will be getting the bluenile 6-prong setting. Of course, I would prefer a SuperCert Tiffany replica, but that costs twice as much and have to deal with the sending of diamond and setting here and there to have it set (I am also in Canada). I am looking at diamonds around 0.8 and 0.9 carat. Does anyone have this bluenile setting? I am wondering whether this setting is that much different from SuperCert''s and if so, what are the differences. Also, will this setting (especially the prongs) be delicate enough for this size of stone? Thanks so much. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

According to my research a 6-prong is more secure than a 4-prong. Any thoughts? Thanks.

I think it is true that 6 prong is more secure than 4 prong, generally.
