Blue Nile

Hi everyone;
I wanted to get your opinions on something. I have seen that Blue Nile has some nice diamond stud earrings that are a good price. I called them to ask how the cut is. They said that the diamonds are at least a good cut if not an excellent cut. The guy was really nice and explained that the diamonds still will have a good spakle to them. I was wondering if you all agree with that? Has anyone in there bought the pre-made earrings from them? Id love anyones input who has them. thanks a lot

it is $1050 for 3/4 carat diamond studs, H or I color and SI1 clarity. set in white gold and a 4 prong setting.

Blue Nile does have some good prices on stones sometimes. Have you tried looking at their loose stone inventory? I found two .42 point diamonds AGS0 J/VS2 for around $1150. I think they both scored 1.3 on HCA.

Then you would have to add on $200-$300 to get them set. By going this route, you get certificates for both stones and can run the numbers through HCA prior to purchase. It's a little more work, but you will be sure of the quality of the stones.
