Blue nile signature cut

Just a quick question what is your oppinion of Blue Nile''s signature cut in the princess shape? I was looking at some earrings as a possibility (only a small pair by PS standards

) but dont really have a clue when it comes to Princess cut stones. are they any good in terms of a quality standard for brilliance, sparkele etc? others experiences?

I am not sure hopefully someone will chime in; Whiteflash has the cut above line that is super cut/sparkle.

I don''t know either D2B, sorry. From what I have heard hear on PS, many people are diehard princess stone cut lovers, despite the fact that they may not sparkle as much as rounds. There is something else about them that they find enchanting.
Do you like or prefer princess cut stones to a different shape? If so, what is your reason? Have you seen any in person and compared them to other shapes?

If you are just learning or wanting to know more about them maybe you can take a look online at tutorials educating about shape. I found this one here... hopefully, you will find it informative. Good luck

the simple fact that despite loving round brilliants for my rings and pendant, they just dont seem to do it for me as a stud, so therefore the search for althernative stone shapes whilst keeping the sparkle. Arghhhh, I hate to say this

, but sometimes it would just be easier if DH just suprised me with some earrings........ (running off to hide in shame whilst I retract that statement

).

Oh, well, the quest continues.
