Hello All,
Another first time poster with a diamond question. My girlfriend really liked a setting we saw in a Blue Nile Showroom (the 1/10 Ct. petite pave in platinum) and I've been trying to find a good value for a 1 Ct. round diamond near the ~$10k mark without overspending. Initially I was methodically scrutinizing the GIA report diagrams and pictures to ensure I couldn't see ANY inclusion, but I realize that is unnecessary and cut is the real king (thanks to resources like beyond4Cs and diamondscreener tools!).
I reserved the following stones in my shopping basket that are in that price range:
https://www.bluenile.com/diamond-details/LD16906686 (Blue Nile chat is adamant that it is eye clean, though you can see a dark spot in zoom image easily)
I've found other diamonds that meet Beyond4C's depth, table, pavillion, and crown criteria in F/VS1 and above but they start going up to $13-14k. I've filtered out fluorescence thus far.
Any recommendations, evaluations, or alternative suggestions appreciated! Due to liking the setting, I'm fairly certain I will buy from Blue Nile.
