Color balance changes the overall mixture of colors in an image and is used for generalized color correction.”
Now if that is gobble gook too you I will show what it looks like when white balance is off and some pointers on how too set it.
In plain English the White Balance(WB) setting matches your camera too the type of lighting your shooting in.
The default is auto, which does a poor job sometimes figuring out what kind of lighting your shooting in if your not using a flash.
Does your image that should look like this... (it isnt perfect its a little grey which is fixable but beyond this discussion)
