hi all!

do you have any suggestions for a birthday gift for someone you don''t know too well (a gift for your SO''s relative who''s in her mid-late 20s)? i don''t know what she likes or what her taste is and probably won''t be able to get help from anyone who is close to her, so i''m having a tough time with this one. are there any universally liked gifts out there? who else is thinking gift card?

Dont do the visa ones... they are somewhat frustrating to use.... stay away from candles though! :) and I always like jewelry!

Ditto.

I was in a similar situation a month ago and got the bday gal an iTunes gift card for, oh, 20 or 25. It was VERY well received!

Agree 25-30 is a good amount.

sounds good. jas- an iTunes gift card sounds like a great option too. i''m pretty sure she has an ipod.

Another good option that most people like is chocolate or other nice food items.

I like to give girls in that age range Philosophy shower gels you can buy them at Sephora in yummy food scents and they also have coordinating lip glosses

thanks for the ideas everyone! i think i''m going to go with a gift card.
