If money were no object, what size (carat weight) and shape would you wear? :)

2 ct IF Fancy Vivid Green Octavia during the week.
2 ct IF Fancy Intense Blue Octavia for the weekends.
2 ct IF Fancy Red Octavia for holidays.

Who here would like to give me 30 million dollars?

Just googled Octavia diamonds. Is it a branded asscher-cut stone?

Yes, it's the stone in my avatar.
I bought the first Octavia sold for my SO, then bought another for myself.
It has light performance rivaling a well-cut round ... unheard of in asscher cuts ... till Karl got involved.

Here's a thread about my first Octavia.
Pics start in post #91 of this thread.

Beyond day-wear, there is a time & place for anything.

Otherwise, a plain-metal version of this WWW, with a deeper FVY would be 'money no object' cool ...

Very masculine-looking ring.

I guess ...

I have size 9 fingers and would easily be comfortable with a 10+ ct marquise. In rounds probably 15 mm would be big enough. I dont know that i would wear a stone that large for everyday things though. ( gardening , cleaning , washing dishes ect ) i havnt seen a real life solitaire diamond that i have thought was too big .( plenty of awful clusters though! )

I never feel comfortable wearing a diamond solitaire. I always fear that I will decapitate my diamond somehow and it will go flying into oblivion.

I do love the look of almost edge to edge coverage on a ring finger. 10 ct

I would guess I'd be good with a 12 mm OEC or antique cushion. A 15mm by 12mm antique emerald cut and a 15mm by 11mm chunky antique pear (measurements all guesstimated as I am not sure of the most pleasing dimensions without trying it on my finger). All I know is I love fat, juicy, chunky, beautiful and large and I would start from there...

A 5ct Victor Canera branded H&A - E or F, VVS2 or VS1. Be still my beating heart....

Trying to imagine ginormous fancy shapes makes my head spin, so I'll just stick with rounds... I think I could go 11.5-12ish mm MRB or OEC. ;-)

A 10mm OEC would be so nice. I love the look of large emerald cuts on others, but not me.

A 10 mm OEC is my sweet spot. I've tried it on and I think I would very quickly get used to the size. I don't wear rings to sleep, do housework, or exercise though, but otherwise I would rock it.

30 million?
Shouldn't you be able to negotiate a bit of a discount if you purchase or order all three at the same time?
We'll get you these babies within budget, Kenny! =)2

Pinto, have no fear!

I'll walk next to you and catch your gorgeous diamond(s!) if it goes flying!

In a round, a 10mm OEC is my limit. In a fancy, I might be convinced to go bigger! Lol

I think a 2 ct round would be plenty big enough for me and my lifestyle.
I'm a woman of simple wants.
However, I reserve the right to change my mind should the 2 ct be insufficient. ;)2

Thanks.
I owe you a beer.

In a round probably a 9.8 mm. I had one that size that I returned due to color. Actually now that I think about it, I remember thinking it was too big and feeling uncomfortable at a dinner with my husband’s family. I actually turned it around to my palm so they wouldn’t see it. I wonder if I was more uncomfortable about size or color tho.

I tried on a 2.50 ct last week. It's the biggest diamond I've ever had on. It was just right, but I don't know how I'd feel if I were actually walking around everyday with it.

Your new ring is lovely. :)

You mean, like a fancy setting with a large center stone?

Maybe I should ask the maximum size of the center stone one would feel comfortable wearing. :)
