I''ve just finished reading the "bias" thread (slow summer). It prompted me to think, once again, about what a valuable resource all of the PS posters are and how infrequently we say thank you. I''ve been hanging around for 8-10 months and I can''t tell you how valuable your input, knowledge, experiences and opinions have been. I have learned so much and gathered too many valuable resources to mention. Mostly, you have seriously fired my passion for diamonds and helped me to create a working list of jewelry projects. I can''t tell you how much I value the ability to come to PS and bounce my questions and thoughts off of others who are similarly jewelry obsessed. It''s a great feeling as a consumer to know that you always have my back.

So to all of our regular posters, "experts" and "non-experts", jewelers, designers, appraisers, vendors, cutters, and everybody who just offers their thoughts when they have a minute...many, many, many thanks and kudos to you for a job well done.

Forgive me for getting a little sappy but I wanted to make sure you all know how much we appreciate you.

I consider myself the most non-expert of all.

So . . . you''re welcome.

Gayle, thank you, for such a nice post! I''m glad you''ve found it helpful and have enjoyed your time here.

And I echo your sentiments to all those who pitch in around here. It''s a wonderful community, and a wealth of knowledge for those that need help/want to learn.

You''re welcome gayletmom!
Your post was very nice- not sappy at all!
We all need positive thoughts- thanks for throwing some into the mix.

I''m more a busy body these days, but sometimes know where the dead bodies are buried.

Ellen & Lorelei...do you girls know your avatars are confusing some of us right now?

Bad girls!

Follow the hair.

A hearty ditto to Gayletmom, and thank you for posting my thoughts exactly!

While people find their ways onto PS for a variety of different reasons, I would venture that for most, RockyTalky is the gateway into this wonderful forum. Which makes all the amazing posters here the 'face' of PS, and what a wonderful face it is! I can say that personally, my first post here on PS was met with immediate welcomes and help from Lorelei and Ellen, which is what caused me to want to stay and explore all the different boards on PS, so thank you so much!!

Thank you for making the daunting task of purchasing a diamond so stress-free, my BF and I always think 'Ah, not a problem, we have all the wonderful people at PS to help us out'

Yes, I was wondering about the pink pumps, too, but I finally figured it out. What a nice tribute-hairy legs and all!

I''ll trade you a clutch and a pillbox hat for some beer and a football.
