Hey all, you may have seen some of my earlier posts in which I asked for help in picking out a great radiant cut diamond to give to my g/f when I was going to propose in the next week or so. Here is what I decided to go with:

http://www.bluenile.com/diamonds_details.asp?__fun_frm=i&track=btntext_select&elem=img&pid=LD01073694&filter_id=1

NOW THE BIG PROBLEM-when I contacted Bluenile to purchase it they advised me that even though it was graded SI1 by AGS, it had inclusions VISIBLE to the naked eye!!!! I said thanks, but no thanks.

Now here is my question/help needed: This is for Vendors and regular posters alike. Can anyone find/know of a similar stone as the one I linked to above which is the same price or cheaper $5,500.00 and IS EYE CLEAN!!

Please help me out with this challenge, I need to find something soon and do not know all the trusted vendors that are on here and that some of you may know.

THANK YOU SO MUCH IN ADVANCE!!! BTW-I am sooo disappointed! I thought I found the perfect stone

I''m so sorry your stone didn''t work out! I''d recommend calling Jonathan or Tim at Good Old Gold and ask them if they can find you one quickly. Call, don''t email, if you want to get this done quickly. They have camera equipment and can take pictures for you, too.

It''s not at all uncommon for an SI1 stone to have visible inclusions. But many can be found that don''t. I second the recommendation of calling GOG. They are great and make sure they know YOUR definition of eyeclean before they start searching.
