I stumbled onto a stone that falls into the BIC range. Here are its stats:
Depth %: 60.7%
Table %: 57%
Crown angle: 42
Pavillion angle: 41.2
No culet
Girdle: Medium to slightly thick, faceted
When I run the cut advisor, it comes up as 1.7, within BIC range, ex/ex/vg/vg.
First, if this is within BIC range, will that help the diamond appear whiter than its J color grade? Ideally, I''d go with more of an F-G, but there are budgetary considerations.
Second, how can this score in the BIC range and also "excellent" for predicted fire performance? I''m buying online and can''t eyeball for myself, but can it really be both a BIC and firey?
