Why did you wait so long to propose - what happened between May and October? I know it's hard to get a table at Alinea but it seems like a long wait.

I was looking for a new job and new place before I decided to propose and move down to LA (where my fiancé lives)

So, found a new job and boom, pulled the trigger on my vacation trip to Chicago =]
