BGD Four Prong Solitare

I couldn't seem to quickly put my hands on pics sufficiently comparable (the pics I saw all had knife-edge bands), so see what you think of the visual aid offered at **edited by moderator, no affiliate linked websites please**.com; after you plug in your diamond's shape & mm dimensions, you can adjust the resulting images to account for ring size & width of the band.

If you decide you'd prefer a basic solitaire with a thinner band, you could ask BGD what they would suggest. E.g., a 2 mm wide semi-mount from Stuller? (think Stuller may be the actual manufacturer-supplier of the setting you linked; Stuller sells only to the trade, you yourself cannot purchase from them).

If you are on a budget. I highly recommend asking BGD to order this setting for you instead. http://www.stuller.com/products/121855/3233131/?groupId=110433 It will around the same price as that one and is a MUCH nicer style. The prongs and head are integrated and fluid, it allows for a flush fit wedding band.

If you aren't on a strict budget of under 600 then I suggest you allocate more money toward the setting and get one of the nicer four prongs BGD has. Why? The wearer will have the profile view of the ring most often, not the top down view so the setting really makes a difference in the appearance of the ring.
These are my three four prong favorites at BGD.
