I think were both addicted to BGD! I still check their inventory quite often even after I've made my purchases! Lesley has been such a doll to work with!

I am sure it is gorgeous. I can see setting a stone like that in unplated white gold. I would not like it in platinum, though. But my advice is to stick to J and above. :)) I'd like to see one of his I color blues. I am pretty color sensitive but it is SO hard to know what you like without seeing them!

diamondseeker - my ering is a "blue" I, and as soon as it is actually presented to me i will definitely have a huge photo shoot and post a bunch of pictures - i'm quite curious about it myself!

phoenix - i love that you started this thread! i told my boyfriend about this stone - that i thought it would make a great pendant, bezeled and perhaps set in yellow gold, and that it was a 2.33 carat diamond for only 14k - and his response was "the only time you can put 'only' in front of 14,000 dollars is when you're talking about real estate." though i strongly disagree...gotta love guys?
