Bg diamond + hof setting = who should set???

Hello fellow PSers!

I think I am pretty much set on what I am going to do. Planning to get a diamond from BGD and a HOF setting from a authorized local jeweler. One question I do have is how should do it? Who should set the diamond? There are warranty issues with both parties but I just want quality and to know that that is my diamond. What do you guys think is the best way to proceed? I spoke with both parties and they have set it.
