No, these two items do not need to be interactive. BUT, as I have an anniversary coming up with The Pickiest Man in the World, I figured I'd hit up the PS Braintrust for suggestions.
Wireless noise-canceling headphones appear to be as rare as hens teeth: the only one I've found so far is the Sennheiser MM 550 Travel Bluetooth Wireless Headset (http://www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-MM-550-Travel-Bluetooth/dp/B003WV38GM), which gets mixed reviews. Any of y'all have any experience? Suggestions? He already owns the Bose QuietComfort 15 ones, just wants something he can wander around the house in.
Coffee-maker with timer: this sucker, the Cuisinart CHW-12 Coffee Plus 12-Cup Programmable Coffeemaker with Hot Water System (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003KYSLMC/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?ie=UTF8&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER) seems to get the best reviews overall, but if any of you know of a better, more fancy-pants coffee-maker, HIT ME. Only requirement if that it be able to brew the kind of coffee you can use to anchor a tent-pole. Think Turkish coffee, but stronger.
I love you in advance ....
