I love the fancy cuts like the Regent, Flanders, and Jubilee. If I was looking for one under a carat, with a G-H color and VS2-SI1 clarity which one would give me the most bang for my buck? I''m not as interested in the square H&A or a square cushion. Thanks!

In my opinion, and I have sold them all, the Jubilee is the prettiest and the sparkliest.

I really like the Flanders too, but consider the Jubilee to be a prettier stone.

Please remember though, this is my opinion, based on my personal tastes. Nothing at all scientific about it. My eyes have seen the glory of the sparkling of the squares... ( Sung to the tone of the "Battle Hymn of the Republic. Now you know why they don''t pay me to sing or to write lyrics!)

Having never seen any of these in person (but I would LOVE to) why did the regent not make the list? Just curious if you can provide a ballpark figure too. I''ll also add that I don''t mind the lack of sparkliness; one thing I do like about the cushion cut is how it sort of glows.

I think the regent looks round when set so why even bother...if it was regent v. round, I''d go round which will face up nice and big. I love a nice flanders...but try and find one :) I''d go with a jubilee if it had a good depth. I still love the jub e/t I went cushion!

What about a Square Radiant Cut?
The original branded stones start from .70 carats.

There are some very beautiful non branded stones too- so if absolute bang for the buck is the goal, you have choices.

When you say a bang for your buck are you talking about the yellow radiants or the white? Also, what is the difference between the radiant cut and the original radiant cut? Please fill me in!
