So many innocent mice lost... We recently had to go to battle with the rats. If only we had known about this armor... many lives could have been saved. What am I supposed to tell the little mice wives and children!

It is a quote from Redwall, a fantasy series dealing with a number of animals (mostly mice) who live in an Abbey. They have a warrior mouse called mattias. Alas he does not have armour, but he does have a sword.

This made me think of Redwall, too! Don't the badgers of Salamandastron wear armor? The mouse made me think of Martin the Warrior; I can't remember if he wore armor or not, but he was my favorite.
