Best settings for an Asscher

I am in the process of putting together an engagement ring and have pretty much narrowed down the stone. So now comes the hard part in my mind. What setting works great with an Asscher cut. Just to give you a general idea of my wants. I would love to get a matching set i.e. wedding band and setting. But obviously if I find a setting I can have a matching wedding band made. But that being said I suppose the setting will need to be flat on the sides so that they can be flush.

I like the look of channel set with the three dimensions but am open to suggesstions. Additional info the center diamond will be a 1.5c VS1 color F. Thanks for any help/suggestions in advance.

This thread has a bunch of different settings for asschers in it. Take a look and see if you find one that you like. I loved them all!! My first choice was an asscher, then I fell head over heels for cushions. Good luck!

(I can''t find the original e-ring thread.) It is not matching but I think they compliment each other beautifully...I think they look so sophisticated!
