See if your vendor will sell it on consignment. It's pretty common that they don't want to take things into inventory and the original deal was probably a consignment arrangement with their own supplier. They can't give it back and they don't want to get stuck in the middle. That said, they sold it once .....
It's going to be difficult to find a dealer who wants to shell out cash to take a big EC into stock unless they can buy it super cheap. They just don't sell all that quickly. If your guy won't cooperate there are plenty of competitors but they don't all have the same sorts of incentives to cooperate with you. Start with the place you got it and then shop around for competitors.
There are an assortment of direct sale places you can advertise. Frankly I think it's a mixed bag with a specialty sort of item like this but it's usually free or cheap to try and, in the end, you're only looking for one buyer.
Thank you denverappraiser! Great info. I will start with my source. Quite frankly, I don't want to lose a dime on this diamond considering I just bought it a month ago and it has never been set. I know that's a lot to ask for so keeping it is definitely an option. I feel I got the diamond for a fair price, better than anything I can find in pricescope. Originally, I was nervous about the I color. Then I took my diamond into Tiffany and co and could see no difference with their G and even F emeralds! I was shocked by that! I do however see a difference with brilliants since emeralds show more color, a trade off I'm willing to have.
Hi Laurenk, is there a private message feature within Pricescope? Wondering if I could just email you? I contacted jewels by grace and she wants to list it. But I can give you all the details and pics you need.
Hello! I don't think we are allowed to list our email addresses on here unfortunately. Thanks for the pic and the cert, let me have a look. If you go ahead with Grace that's fine too - I am happy to buy through her, although I know that if we deal directly there is no commission to pay. Let me think.....
