Best place to buy settings on-line

Any recommendation on online retailers who sells settings/bands by itself without buying the diamond? Blue Nile refuses to sell me a setting withtou buying diamond...

I never heard of "sisters" but I did find a website for a jeweler with that name pretty easily. (googled it)

You can''t order from them directly, but if you find a setting you like, the jeweler can purchase it for you and set your diamond. This might be a more affordable option over a designer setting.

I had a FABULOUS experience with them. They have B&M locations and do online business. I spoke to Mindy Rauf there, and she was top notch. I wanted a Jeff Cooper (R3145 setting) and I couldn''t find it anywhere here in So Cal besides Robbins Brothers, who I didn''t want to buy from. Weddingband.com (Also known as Robbins Diamonds and no relation to Robbins Brothers) could get me the setting 5 weeks faster and about $400 less than Robbin''s Brothers.

They carry all the designers and Mindy was really great about keeping in touch during the whole process. The setting is actually on the fed-ex truck for a scheduled delivery of today!

marie, didn''t you have a little trouble with sisters suddenly changing the quoted price when your ring was done?

Solomon Brothers has some really nice settings as well. Lots of designers.

Another vender to and to your list is Signed pieces / Facets.They list settings and bands on both of their sites and will make up their rings to fit your stone. I was very pleased with their workmanship and customer service. Many posters here own Facets eternity bands and sets. They are listed in the pricescope venders. I worked with Isaak and he made up an engagement ring for me that I am thrilled with.

i am looking for full pictures, side, front, under the setting, etc. of a Jeff Cooper R3145. I want to run this by some girlfriends for their opinions before I decide to pull the trigger on the ring. I can''t find that great of images for the ring. Can someone help? the more angles, close up with dimensions the better..... thanks!

There seem to be plenty of recommendations for various jewelers and web sites that sell jewelry, however one thing has not been mentioned... That is, what sort of setting are you looking for? Different sites specialize in different things
