Hi all,
http://www.bluenile.com/build-your-own-ring/diamond-14k-white-gold-engagement-ring_25646?elem=title&track=product
After sifting through my girlfriend's pintrest page for clues I have decided on a setting ^, but I'm a little worried about finding a diamond that will compliment it while staying within my budget ($4000-4500). Will the diamonds on the setting make a .66-.75 ct diamond look too small? She cares much more about quality than the size (she has made it very clear that she wants <1ct), but I don't want the main stone to just look like an extention of the others. I'm thinking that since the diamonds on the setting are round maybe I should choose a princess cut for the main rock to help it stand out. Although I am pretty commited to this setting, I would definitely go back to square 1 if I won't be able to afford a diamond that will compliment it.
Thanks in advance!
