Best color of gold for pastel stone jewelry

I am going to be setting 3 pastel colored gems (pink, purple, and teal) and wanted opinions on the best color gold: white or yellow…

or both?

How do you feel about rose gold ?
I never liked it ....
Till i tried it on
pop down the mall this weekend (if its safe where you live) and try some rose gold on for fun
i think pink stones look really lovelly in rose gold

I think yellow is your best bet for that combo of colors.

I agree with TL yellow gold is probably better because you have two warm tones (pink and purple) and then the cool of teal. All would go really well with rose gold though. Do you have photos because if the purple and teal have grey undertones a white gold may work too. It really depends on the tones.

Those are too vivid to qualify as pastel colors for me, but I second or third using yellow gold.
