Em what do you want to know?
I''ve always lived in Dublin and can never see myself living elsewhere, although I adore travelling.
I have two sisters-both younger than myself.
I have my beautiful dog Amber and my little trouble maker Manolo, and my first man, Raffles, my horse, who''s retired.
I met D when I was in secondary school (highschool?) when I was 17. I went to an all girls school and we did debating against D''s school and that''s how we met. We''ve been together ever since.
My fave cities are New York and Barcelona.
I only really read true life crime. My new fave book that I''ve read recently is "Ma he sold me for a few cigarettes". It was one of the most heart wrenching books I''ve ever read, set in the tenements in Dublin. I would recommend anyone to read it.
My fave programme is still S*x and the city and I try and get two episodes in nightly.

I haven''t been on PS as much as I used to cos D and I are trying to do up the new house and it''s taking up valuable PS time! Amber is great-she is amazing with Manolo and I''m sure that he''s really trying her patience at times. He loves her tail to bits. Manolo is a little wagon-he''s hyperactive and manic but so so cute! I''ve never seen such an active kitten though.
Australia was amazing! We stayed in Fremantle which is just outside of Perth. The house that D''s parents booked was huge-it even had it''s own lift in it so that was such a novelty and the view from the house was just amazing. There were even Pelicans on the water most mornings. We went on Prison tours, out to a wildlife sanctuary and just generally explored. D''s granny is still hanging in there and although she''s lost a lot of her memory, she still remembered D and even my name, so I was thrilled that he got to see her again as we haven''t seen her in over 8 years. His family over there were all so nice. I''ll try and post some photos.

Lorelei-ooh I think that my favourite perfume is Jean Paul Gaultier. I also love Romance by Ralph Lauren and Lovely by Sarah Jessica Parker.
I have always wanted to be a vet since I was four. My mother is a veterinary nurse and we always grew up with lots of animals in the house. I did my work experience in a vets and started working in the SPCA over here from the age of 16 and they hired me on a full time basis during summers and weekends. Unfortunately I didn''t get enough points in my leaving cert and so I did a science degree to try and get in that way. It then took me another two years to get in after I finished my degree and during that time I worked full time in the practice that I''m in now, so it''s given me great experience for college. I know it sounds awful but you do get used to seeing sad things. I''ve seen a lot of vets in my time also that just don''t seem to care for the animals that they''re treating, so I just try and make it my job to take care of the animals and try and reassure them as much as I can. I''m just so looking forward to qualifying!

Linda-my favourite colour is purple. I love all things that colour. I love Mexican food so that would probably be my favourite-nachos, enchiladas etc

I''ll take photos of the house tomorrow. We only have one room done at the moment but I can do a before and after of that. D''s working on my walk in closet at the moment

Mmm I think that I''d like to be a golden retriever as they''re friendly, beautiful and full of life!

Thanks Skippy! I was definitely in animal heaven. We even went swimming with Sharks which was amazing! You should definitely go-it was great!

Sharks, eeek, were you scared? How big were they? I guess I am such a fraidy cat! haha Do you have any pictures are you certified in scuba? We plan to go for our 10 yr anni; so in 2010! We want to go for 3-4 weeks. I have been dying to go there; what is the food like?

The shark swimming was organised in the aquarium-they have a 3 million litre tank and tons of sharks, rays, turtles and other fish. It was absolutely amazing. I was the one that was all gung-ho about it and then on the day I was so nervous and D and his sister were fine! They were a couple of meters long and although they look very scary, they were fine. This is the link to it and you can see a picture of the main type of shark and I can try and upload some of my pictures in the morning. It was my favourite part of the whole holiday though. Amazing!

The food was great, especially if you like fish. I think that I had prawns pretty much every day there I think, but they had everything available. 3-4 weeks would be perfect. I''d really like to go to Sydney next time I''m there.

Our neighbors went for a month and after they told me all about it I knew I had to go! You lucky duck; so beautiful! Do you have any pics of Barcelona you can add too pretty please. I could look at animals and vacation pictures all day! Especially pretty Amber; if I ever need to be cheered up I will come check out your thread for sure!!!

The fish and prawns were so tasty-I''ve never tasted such juicy prawns before! yum!
I''ll post some of my Barcelona pics in the morning. I have to upload some of them. Most of them were from before I got my digital camera but I don''t have my scanner up and running yet so they might take a while. I love Barcelona though-we''re thinking of going back there for another weekend soon.
