Beautiful Necklace

Hi everyone! I don''t know if I am posting in the right forum but I really need help. I need to know how many carats this necklace is????? I am at a loss....Can anyone help...I tried to post the best picture I have....

Is there a way to tell for sure or should I find an appraiser and where would one find an apprasier? I think it was about 400 hundered dollars. I am not sure, I didn't buy it. It was for a gift. I am trying to sell it that's why I am trying to find out.

Unfortunately, I don''t think anyone will be able to tell you the carat weight of your necklace from a photo. You''re probably going to have to have the necklace appraised, or at least inspected by a jeweller who can give you a better estimate of ctw.

you can measure the diameter of each stone in mm, and then refer to the mm-->carat conversion chart in FAQs

This is definitely a good starting point, but since diameter does not translate directly into weight and vice versa (i.e. how deep or shallow the stones are would cause there to be a possible variation in diameter), I would think that this would provide an approximation only. If VG is looking to sell the necklace, she might need a more accurate carat weight and approximate specs in order to do so.
