Hey All,
I have a question regarding my ring. I have recently had some work done it that was just regualar maintenance type work, but since the work was done I have had problems with small round diamonds falling out.
Orginally, I went to the jeweler to add prongs to my bid diamond so that it would be more stable and then also had one of the small round diamonds replaced b/c it would look like it was missing every now and then and the jeweler said it was b/c it was too small for the setting. With in a month of this getting fixed 2 small round diamonds fell out on the same side of the one that was replaced. I had those replaced (they did charge me) and picked up on Friday, the 21st and now another diamond is missing.
You can kind of see where it is missing. They said when i picked it up that they checked to make sure no other diamonds were loose. I want to believe that it just a coincidence, but I have not had any problems until i started getting work done.
Does anyone have any advice, is this normal? Should I get a 2nd opinion?
Thanks!
