Picture nr 1 you can see the surface of the stone is a bit "dirty", is this normal with BE treatment?

Picture nr 2: on the right side of the stone there are some "lines"; what can those lines be? The stone claims to be beryllium treated, not glass filled...

Do you own that stone, or are you considering it for purchase.

I'm considering it for purchase;

I'm considering it for purchase;
If you don't mind me asking, how much do they want for it? Truthfully you can probably do a lot better and find a similar stone that is less dark, better faceted and with heat only treatment.

I'm considering it for purchase;
What is your budget? To be honest, it looks very dark and not saturated with much color. It’s almost black. Even in diffused sapphires, you can do much better.

Vendor is asking 70 dollars, it's a 9,40ct; I know it's dark, but I like dark ones; I've been a bit suspicious about the line that's in this sapphire; Is this just color zoning or can this be a filled fracture?

At that price, I’d be more worried it was a synthetic, simulant or something else. Without a close look by a gemologist, no one can know for sure. $70 may be worth the risk.

I think it’s ugly. Sorry.
It’s so dark and included that it will look like a dark “blob” when set.
And it looks either very included or poorly glass filled.
You would be better off buying an “honest” man made one for cheaper with better colour and clarity.
It also already has a chip to the girdle and I imagine setting it might be risky. I’d pass.

Thanks! I just needed that little bit of confirmation to trust my guts about this stone. I'm not taking the risk; My other option is someting very different, It's a cabochon sapphire with IGI expertise, no treatments, almost 14ct;

Or alternatively this one

At least there is a good chance that these stones are accurately represented. So what you think you are buying and what you are actually buying are likely to be the same thing.

It is not going to be fun to lay down money for a setting for one of these candidates and then later find out it is not as represented. The bigger stones will almost certainly need custom settings, which means there is a certain base minimum cost to this exercise which far exceeds $70. There is little point cutting the corner on the initial transaction if it commits you to spending a disproportionately large amount afterwards to complete the project.
