I personally would be careful putting cream on the bead board if your bathroom fixtures are a stark white. Make sure the two colors look good together. Hex tiles come in a larger sheet so it is not more difficult to lay. They fit together like a puzzle.
I agree. I would perhaps do something that is a light brown instead of cream on the beadboard? Cream and white just don't go together super well IMO. You could even just do white beadboard as long as there was some contrast with the floor and the paint above.
And only do so much brown/cream if YOU love it. We want to sell too but that doesn't mean everything needs to be beige. I don't have one speck of beige in my house and I am confident that it will sell well anyway. Just don't do lime green tile.
