Basketball + Starbucks + Caricature + Ring = Happiness

Well PS Family after 2 Months of searching for the right ring & method of proposal I finally did it!!! I stumbled upon this site in September while in search of the perfect ring and since then this place has provided a wealth of information for myself. The time finally came this past Thursday to share this pride and joy of mine (the ring) with my s/o as we shared our Anniversary in Portland. Unbeknownst to her this particular annual trip would be a life changer for both her and myself. After doing some shopping with her, her mother & sister in law and our daughter we decided to stop by a starbucks before heading to our annual LA clippers v. Portland basketball game.

See after a craigslist posting several weeks ago looking for a caricature artist, a call to my favorite studio photographer (the future mother in law) & sister in law I now had a plan. We headed down to Portland to do some quick shopping before the game and after several hours of retail therapy to calm the nerves it was now show time!

We headed to the basketball arena but prior to making it I decided I was having a craving for some starbucks. It was a chilly afternoon but for some reason I decided it'd be best for us all to sit on the patio of the cafe where we just happened to "bump" into a caricature artist whom offered to draw a photo of both me and my s/o while we sit and enjoyed our cup of java... from there, the rest is history:

SHE SAID YES!!!

and the caricature which helped me pop the question along with a crappy instagram photo of the ring!

I'm on cloud nine right now price scope family, i've been smiling ear to ear & the best part is SHE ABSOLUTELY LOVES THE RING!!! Thank you guys for all the help & suggestions
