Bank Wire to US Certed Diamonds???

Hi all... I have finally found the perfect diamond.
I decided to buy from US Certed Diamonds...
However, I need to bank wire the money to him.
Does any one have experience doing this?
from what i can tell, people have really great experience with Martin.
I am just a little warry because of the amount that is being transferred...
How long does it usually take fro the money to get there??
Any input would be great...

Hi J,

There have been tons of people who have bankwired money to vendors. As long as it''s someone reputable (which it is), you are ok. It usually takes 24-48 hours for the transfer to complete.

I wired a hefty sum to James Allen just last week. They provided me with all the bank routing information, which I printed out and brought to my local bank. For $30, a bank representative typed in all the required info and executed the transfer. About one hour later, I received a phone call from the bank confirming the successful transfer of the funds. Best of all, that little trip got me an additional 1.5% off my order! Well worth it. Hope this helps!

Hi! I purchased my diamond from Martin at USA Certed and was terrified about transferring money to him. It was the first time I had ever transferred that sum of money to anyone! Everything went smoothly and turned out well.

Well, it''s a lot of money regardless of how you pay. I haven''t worked with them but it seems to be a common, probably even preferred, way of buying diamonds. It''s a bank to bank transfer so I doubt it could get much safer.

My experience was similar to DChokie''s. I got the bank wire info from my vendor, went to my bank, gave them the info, and they processed the request. The bank said they do wire transfers once a day, at 1:00 I think. I got a message from my vendor later that afternoon that the wire was received and the diamond was being shipped that day. The diamond was delivered to my FedEx hub the next morning.

Couldn''t have gone smoother for me.
