Bailey Banks & Biddle Ring

I have a BB&B Ring and have no idea where to locate the documents/certificate for it. It has a number inscribed on the band and diamond. Any ideas?? Thanks

Yes, this is probably the only way.

You can also get an independent appraisal and it will give you the information you might want, but the stone might need to be unset.
