Wedding BAD PHOTOGRAPHER WARNING! Just watched our wedding video

When Gary and I got married we had a dreadful photographer. He brought this woman with him and all she did was yell at everyone to get into place for pictures. I was so upset by her. The photos were horrid too. No close ups and everyone was always looking the wrong way. We only had 3 nice pics.

I think I might have to think about a lawsuit if this happened to me. He is in every shot? That is proof right there he was NOT doing what he was suppose to be doing. It sounds like he came as a guest not as the photog.

I am so sorry Haven. I don''t know how you feel, but I can sure sympathize with you. It is just terrible.

I''m so, so sorry Haven. Violet is right, you were still an absolutely gorgeous bride despite the idiots who were supposed to be capturing that beauty. Your hubby will always remember that, and from the pictures we''ve seen you were absolutely blissful on the actual day. I''m so happy you had no idea about these idiots on the actual day and had a wonderful day.

Lots of people mentioned this already, but I agree that some of the photos taken by the guests at our wedding are fantastic, and capture some moments that our photographer/videographer didn''t.

Big hugs hun, do you have any friends or family who is a lawyer? I would definitely consult them to see if you have grounds to sue to get ALL your money back. They clearly didn''t do their job, and misrepresented themselves to you and possibly others.

as far as preventing other brides from having to go through the same nightmare, could you post a complaint with the better business bureau? again, i''m soooo sorry that you''re so disappointed. you were a GORGEOUS bride and deserved to have those memories captured on film!

Haven, I am so heartbroken for you that they managed to completely muck up the video too! AHH. I can''t even imagine your frustration and disappointment

I hope you are at least able to salvage some of the photos- any news on that front? And though it can never replace the pics, I would be pushing really hard for a refund.

Haven I am so sorry to hear that. I was really hoping you would love your video after your photos were so disapointing. No words here, just so sorry!

I didn''t read everyone''s comments so I''m sorry if this is being repeated... when you said you wanted to take out a billboard... Well it''s expensive! : )
There''s a MUCH better tool for that though.... go on your local Chicago board on theknot.com. You could get the word out (and you should!!!) Theknot was an invaluable tool for me to find fantastic vendors.... and to find ones to stay away from. I would definitely post your disappointment so you can warn other brides!!!
