Hello All,
4 months ago, I was lurking around here for ideas and where to get diamonds, but I held off and started a business. Now it's getting near my wedding date which is 9/26. I'd like your help to find me the best price and a great cut diamond.

My price range is $8500-$12000. Looking for excellent/ideal cut and carat 1.4-1.85 ct. weight

Thank you..

Kevin

What kind of cut and what specs are you looking at for that budget?

Color and Clarity are not a big deal
Can be near colorless and at least SI1

WhiteFlash Diamond

I like the 3rd one- seem less in price and larger in ct weight.
GOing with Whiteflash, is there an additional PS discount?

Any other suggestion guys? I like the whitflash, what do you think?

That looks like a lovely diamond Kevin, maybe it is new as not all the images are up yet. You get a discount if you pay with a bank wire.

I don't see an ASET or Ideal Scope image for that Whiteflash one. I just got a diamond from Whiteflash and they were very easy to work with. Give them a call and see if she can send additional images, has additional information about it, or can take a look at it for you. I worked with Sheerah but they'll all treat you right.

You'll get it for about $10,382 and it does have a 30 day return policy.

Edit: Judging from the date of that AGS cert, that is a very newly graded diamond which probably explains why there aren't additional images yet.

Hi,
I''m going to call Whiteflash on Monday and find out more about this diamond to see if they are eye-clean! It seems like this one looks good with ideal on all 3 category.

Can you guys help me with more selections with my price range? $9k-11k. Can I get a larger diamond, willing to sacrifice clarity and color. Cut needs to be great, where it is not dull and still shine? My girl prefers size, then cut, then color/clarity.

Thanks,

I just linked the main page, as there's no more info on the where it's listed. Sorry, should have said call for info!

I would definitely call Brian Gavin Diamonds and ask Lesley what''s available. I don''t believe they have everything listed online yet.

Lor - This 1.6 ct versus the Whiteflash''s 1.5ct, which one would you choose? I''m going to call Brian and find out about the 1.7ct.

Please give me input on these photos and certificate. I want to get the right diamond given the money allowed, and maximize the size without giving up on the cut quality
Here is one for the Brian Gavin''s diamond

It''s a beautiful, quality stone, no surprise there. And a competitive price. Love the size too!

Yap, no surprise there, looks good. :)

Based on these pictures and measurement, they look good? With the ideal cut, J color wouldn''t be factor unless you look from the bottom of diamond?
I like the price for the ct. weight, and it''s a VS2, the only thing is the J color.

Check out this video from GOG showing color comparison
Great thread gc. I''ll add one more that might help. It''s J stones in platinum.

Everyone is different as to what they may see in a stone, and what does or doesn''t bother them. Unless your girl has looked at a lot of diamonds, and has determined she is color sensitive, I doubt this stone will bother her.

Another One that I just received from Brian/Leslie
