Here is my 30 carat necklace fit for a queen! The diamonds are from Israel Diamonds and they did a wonderful job as always selecting the various sizes in the finest quality, all 460 of them. My family jeweller in Calcutta, India surpassed himself once again setting the diamonds in 18 ct gold and making the necklace in 10 days although he did stress me out by delivering it literally hours before my flight home to California. I designed the necklace and the whole thing took a year of planning and drawing, selecting the sizes, co ordinating the diamonds from Israel and the setting in India, but the effort was well worth it as you can see. The pic does not do it justice, the diamonds just dazzle!

Another view.

3.5 carats diamond hoops in a scallop design that was on my mind. My Calcutta jeweller did a great job!

Side view. It is about the size of a Dollar coin.

6.3 carats chandelier diamond earrings. These were ready made at another jeweller in Calcutta and they just called my name. Not bad for $4,740! The setting is in 18 ct gold.

Ah! The polki cuff I searched high and low for! This cuff has 17 carats of polki (uncut diamonds) and cut diamonds. Again the setting is in 18 ct gold. This was from the same jeweller where I got my other Polki earrings which you can see on the first thread.

And then you can flip the cuff around and show the tourmalines if you want to match a coloured outfit! The workmanship is outstanding. It is one of a kind and at $8,500 it is a steal! Ha! Ha! You can tell I love jewellery shopping in India and why I go back year after year!

This is an example of how to recycle old jewellery, desi style! These were tops or studs as you can see on my first thread. I had my jeweller change them to danglers and they look so much better and feel even dressier if that is possible.

Wow you have quite a beautiful collection. A friend of mind married a Kathak dancer from Calcutta and all she wears these days is Indian jewelry. Nice style.

How beautiful!!!!

I love to go to the jewelry stores her in "Little India", a section of Pioneer Blvd. here in Artesia, California.

I really love the Indian design esthetic and the lovely detail work.
