Bachelorette Party Ideas

Anyone have any good ideas for a fun and different bachelorette party????

Friends of mine did a "Sexy in the City" party and tried to go to as many places as they could that were featured in Sex and the City, and of course have a drink at each place.. they had a blast. There photo''s are alot of fun to.

I really think it depends on the kind of person the bride is. If she loves going out, a night on the town might be perfect (or maybe one of those party-bus things you can rent?). I''m not much of a drinker, so we took pole dancing lessons (so much fun!) and went out for a nice dinner afterward. A good friend of mine took a weekend backpacking trip through the mountains which I would love, but again, it''s all about what the bride would like.

I''m in Dublin and we''re going to have a sex and the city themed night as well. I think that we''re going to go to a posh hotel and get all dressed up and have a night on the tiles. It''s still 17 months away but nothing like a bit of early planning!
With my close friends, we''re going to have a weekend in Eurodisney too.

Depends on where you live, but what about going wine tasting?

One of my friends snuck flasks onto the Santa Cruz boardwalk and did mini-golf, which was one of my favorite ideas, but it''s a little bit less classy...

We went on a short 4 day/3 night cruise for my friend''s bachlorette party last year and it was a lot of fun.

For my best friend's slumber party 8 girls rented a limo, packed a picnic (crackers, cheese, bread, chocolates, etc.) and spent a day wine tasting. We went back to her place, made pizza and had a good ol' fashioned slumber party. It was very her (she's low key, reserved, not one to call attention to herself) and so very fun.

What clubs are you going to? I know zanzibar has become really popular for hen parties and I liked it there but it doesn''t have a "sex in the city" vibe either.

Last year I went to a bachelorette party of a co-worker and we went to a concert. It was fun because there was an age-range of girls invited from work but we went to Keith Urban (her choice) and everyone had a great time. Even the non-country lovers (which included myself) enjoyed themselves...

Another "different" idea could be a girls DAY out to get spas/facials at a day spa. This is something I would like to do because my sister/maid of honor is not 21 yet and I would love her to be included!

It definitely depends on the bride''s personality/preference...

What clubs are you going to? I know zanzibar has become really popular for hen parties and I liked it there but it doesn't have a 'sex in the city' vibe either.

I'm not sure yet, maybe the Shelbourne or the Merrion hotel for cocktails and champagne and then we'll see where we go afterwards. I'm not a big club person, I prefer bars and pubs. We might go onto some of the other bars like Cafe en Seine also.
My friends all want to make it a weekend affair so we might have a murder mystery night the second night. There's a new G hotel in Galway as well that seems to be modern and trendy so we might go down and stay there.....or the temptation to fly to NY is there

One of my friends did a limo wine tasting tour followed by dinner and going out - that was really fun. I do have to say, I love the classic Vegas trip!

I hosted my friend bachelorette party and we did black light bowling with a DJ and it was a lot of fun and inexpensive. I had already spent close to $400 on being in the wedding and wanting to do something simple and everyone had a lot of fun. Especially surprising her!! She had absolutely no idea!! It was a sneak attack late at night.

for my friend''s bach party, we went out for dinner, then took a ferry over to a brand spankin new hotel and casino and partied away! the most fun part was that we gave the bride all these ridiculous things to wear (a veil with unmentionables that lit up, giant plastic ering, etc) and the ferry ride had many people who had just left the football game. at the hotel, an erotic cake and other naughty games ensued.

For something relaxing, I think a day at the spa to be pampered with your girls along with dinner/drinks afterwards would be fun. If it includes a stay overnight then booking a nice hotel where everyone can hang out and talk afterwards would be good too.

My girls are taking me to a DRAG QUEEN SHOW. We''ll have dinner there (It is at a really trendy restaurant.... that just happens to have a disco ball in the middle with a bunch of gorgeous men singing hit songs!) My mom, aunts, etc. will come to that. Then we''ll lose the older ladies (ha ha) and go bar hopping around the city in a hummer limo (my friends dad hooked us up... he works for the limo company) Can''t wait

My maid of honor took me to a drag queen show and bar hopping. SO FUN!
