My decision with my daughter was to wait until she asked to have her ears pierced and was responsible enough to take care of them. I don't have a problem with those who have different opinions. I do believe that people should go to someone who is skilled in using piercing needles and has sterilized equipment. Those piercing guns are full of nasty bacteria![]()

I don't believe that quote (if it's the one I read) had anything to do with that poster's personal opinion of anyone's choice to pierce their babies ears. Merely an observation of how certain cultures and generation's views may vary on the subject. Didn't any of your older relatives ever have views that would be considered less than PC nowadays? If I am referring to the wrong post, I apologize in advance.
