Hi everyone!
In light of a recent thread I was reading, and an experience I had today, I really felt obliged to post a love-in thread for my local B&M - Keperra Jewellers in Brisbane, and the guy I deal with, Mr Brian Bretherton.
I''ve been on the hunt for a warm coloured pear around the 1.5carat mark, but am quite clarity sensitive and fussy re: bow ties. Brian has been so patient! He called in a most perfect stone for me last week, but unfortunately it was a few thousand outside our budget, and my fiance and I went in today to confirm with him that we just can''t justify the extra dosh right now for that particular stone, since the Aussie dollar has fallen so hard in the last few months.
Brian was so lovely, there was no hard sell, no hard feelings, absolutely nothing put back on us for refusing the stone. And he polished one of my rings that he''d just resized within an inch of it''s life... and the most important part, the whole time we were in the store his smile didn''t leave his face. He has welcomed us back, and has promised to stay on the lookout for a suitable diamond within our budget.
If Brian reads here, I would just like to let him know that he''s earned a loyal customer here! And if anyone else in the Brisbane area is looking for a knowledgeable, kind, open and honest jeweller to work with, I highly recommend Brian.
Any other love-in posts are welcome below!
