Wedding Aw man!

Hi everyone, hope your Friday is going well! Mine is going decently, but I got some semi-bad news. My dress won''t be in until July.

I am happy and sad. Happy because I have more time to buff up and lose weight (I can do a lot in two months woohoo!). But sad because I wanted to see it!

Oh well, just needed to share.

Oh one more thing! The photographer I really like doesn''t offer large gallery prints anymore. Should I worry about that? Their person retired. Has anyone taken their proofs/negatives and had large photos printed? They use pictage, does pictage do that? Woo! Sorry for the hodgepodge.

my photographer used pictage and when we ordered our pictures the largest you could order was an 8x10. i also wanted a larger size picture of one of my wedding pictures, so we got a digital image of the picture we wanted and used www.canvasondemand.com. they are so awesome, you can pick any size you want, send them a digital image and they print it on a canvas. it looks great, we were really happy with them. they are fairly cheap and you can also google their name and find online coupons to use.

pictage might be different now, our wedding was 3 years ago, but if they still don''t have larger sizes i would highly recommend canvasondemand!

Ugh sorry to hear about your dress not being in for another while. I''d say that you''d be able to get the photos printed larger somewhere.

I talked to the photographer and it looks like pictage may be an option, so maybe it has changed, not sure. If not, I am going to buy the hi-res proofs probably, so I could go somewhere and get them printed I guess.

I looked at the website lovemybug and those look awesome! I will definitely bookmark it! How do they get them to you, just by normal shipping? Did it come safely packed?

yes, normal shipping. they are unbelievably fast and have great customer service. they emailed me the business day after i placed my order to tell me they had started working on it. that was monday. tuesday i got an email with a tracking number in it. thursday it was sitting at my door when i got home from work. it was securely packed and not damaged at all. every single person that has come in my house since we hung it up has commented on it. they are a great company with an awesome product. and like i said, when you place your order all you have to do is google ''canvasondemand.com coupon'' and you will find some. i found one for 20% off my entire order.

oh, and i meant to say in my last post: good luck with the weight loss, and your dress will be here before you know it!

Sorry to hear about your dress, Sarah...did they give a reason for a delay?

I guess I should start calling about my dress here one of these days!

I am no use to you about the pictures, but I think the other gals gave you some good advice on that!

Thank you for the info about the pictures! Aww Harleigh they didn''t give a reason. I am thinking that when they told me May when I ordered my dress in January they were estimating, and when they actually looked it up it was July? Not sure.
