I have heard that there is a type of cut that would not show a bowtie in an oval. Something about a 4 facet cut instead of a 6 facet cut. If anyone knows more about this please let me know.. Thanks!!

In my research I've also been seeing something about a split facet oval eliminating a bow tie effect. Please let me know if you have heard about either of these... Thanks!

Vs the typical cut that if not cut correctly will have a bow-tie

To be honest I prefer the second cut...cut well (won't have a bow-tie).

If you give your specs, budget we can recommend some that are well cut.
