AVC cushion with custom GOG setting

I helped my sis-in-law pick a stone at GOG and it was set by them. We wanted Steven kirsch to do it but Sandy happened and we ran out of time so we opted for GOG. The ring haven't reached her yet but here's the video that GOG sent us. What do the discriminating PS'ers think?

I really love the proportions and setting - the split shank is just the right length for me. They really nailed it with this setting.

It's gorgeous!!!! They did a great job, the split looks perfect. Just wanted to point out that AVC cushion is redundant as the C stands for cushion... but I love it!! Eagerly awaiting hand shots!!!

Badabling is right! That is breathtaking! I love the shank and agree with Ginger the proportions are spot on. I love the way the melee on the shank has an edge around it and that milgraining - it looks like it would protect the melee from damage while offering gorgeous design detailing and the stone holds its own. I would happily take it.

Thank you all for your positive response!! I was a little worried that it was a little chunkier than i wanted... i had victor canera do my ring and it just seemed so much more delicate. I can't wait to see the ring in person... i will definitely post some hand shots once i get it.

I think it's CAD but I'm not sure....I'll have to ask GOG. It's much cheaper almost half the price quoted me by Victor Canera or Steven Kirsch but took almost a month to be done. It'll only get to us in April so hand shots will have to wait a loooong time!
