DCLA has just been recognised as the first and only official CIBJO registered laboratory for Australia.

According to JAA CEO John Howie, "DCLA is only the 9th laboratory worldwide to receive this official CIBJO registration." CIBJO laboratory registration is typically limited to only one laboratory per country.

DCLA now holds the "Australia National CIBJO Diamond Master set: C2 AU master set".

This adds to the DCLA''s list of accreditations which already include official recognition from the IDC, WFDB and the JAA.

Retailers can now give consumers even greater confidence when it comes to buying diamonds.

CIBJO is the World Jewellery Confederation and is an international confederation of national jewellery trade organizations.

"CIBJO sets the worldwide standard for ethical trading in the jewellery industry and thereby protects consumer confidence in the industry".

The Jewellers Association of Australia (JAA) is the Australian CIBJO member, and JAA CEO John Howie was recently appointed as the president of Sector 2 of CIBJO. This is a clear indication that the Australian jewellery industry is now at the forefront of worldwide industry issues and consumer protection will be better than ever.

Hi Richard and Neil

Thankyou for the kind comments
.
We are very happy about our latest achievement.
The DCLA has been through an audit to check working methods, records, equipment and technical ability. we also had second master set,a C2 master set for colour and florescence put together.that took about 18 months and was done by SSEF.It has taken a while to get the set, which is the final step in becoming a Cibjo registered laboratory.

Off to work I go. thanks again.
Mike
