(Mods please move if not correct forum)
I wanted to post this up as a thank you to JA. Prior to 2 months ago the only thing I knew about diamonds was diamond league in starcraft. Now we are engaged with an awesome ring.
About 2 months ago I started looking into purchasing a round brilliant. I live in Australia with minlmal bang for buck. After seeking advice on pricescope, I decided to go with JamesAllen (over BGD/WF), mainly due to:
- at time of purchase, they redesigned the website. The 360 spinning of the diamond close up is second to none
- they were the most prompt responses through email enquiries, and personalised (not standard reply)
- the settings were very reasonable prices
After deciding on one (non customised ring), they sent through a whole bunch of numbers for wire transfer. Wire transferred. Confirmed.
Not less than 10 days, I got a notification that the ring was in transit. As a first timer of Fedex, I was very surprised only after 2-3 days it arrived at my doorstep. AUSFTA paper work attached to the outside - 5% duty tax avoided.
Opened the package and piccies below

Very cool loupe that can see the H&A included. The box is also very good woody quality.
