I love how simple the setting is that it allows the stone to shine. WOW!!!!!

What a great isze! LOL! at your FI not wanting to post the specs... does she know you did it after all?

It IS huge and perfect!

It wasn''t that she didn''t want the specs posted, it was that I didn''t want to post them with her watching. She finds it perfect and that''s all she wants to know. When people ask her how big it is, she can just say "big enough!" Maybe down the road she''ll ask and I''ll be happy to tell her (although she never had to go through the 4Cs education), but right now she''s just riding on cloud 9 with a perma-smile. I''ve showed her a few other GOG OMCs on PS, and she finds the whole PS thing very funny, especially the obligatory flower photos. When I showed her the ones I did over the past few weeks she giggled.

Thanks for your comments about the photos. Was tough to do with a 8 yr old 4 megapixel camera, but I think they came out well. Photo tips on here were a great help.

Congrats. Beautiful stone. Did you pick the shank and the head yourself or did GOG?

I got the shank and head locally. I have a friend who owns several jewelry repair stores in the area, so he was able to help me find exactly what I was looking for. (PT950/RU was important to me for hardness)

Gorgeous, gorgeous ring!

Are there ANY of these stones that look bad? I''ve been so incredibly impressed with the consistent beauty that I''m seeing in these rings.

I have a VS2 that has a small carbon spot that I can see when I look through the side. This has never bothered me; in fact, I *like* this because it doesn''t change the beauty of the stone, but it''s like the stone has a birthmark. I can identify my stone very easily just because of that little spot.

Your fiancee has lovely hands, too.

Stunning ring & CONGRATULATIONS!

WOW, WOW, WOW!!! Love the new pictures of the ring!! I didn''t know rosemary is for rememberance! Look at that, I learn something new every day!

beautiful!
