It is exactly where it belongs relevant to the fact Hillary and Bernie were both referred to above.

...by you? I don't think that meme refers to what you think it does, FWIW. BTW, Bernie addressed this when it happened and said had their emails been revealed, they'd have said worse. And the Trump campaign emails? Hoo boy.

Back to the actual subject, this is one wild news day. We had a quiet one and, of course, BAM. No wonder Trump was railing on the NYT and WaPo the other day.

A little levity. You can't make this sh*t up, I swear.

And shouldn't this belong in the Trump tweet saga thread.

Oh wait, the first tweet and picture is already there.

My choice would of been Rudy Giuliani.

No (well, I guess they could but seeing as they're Sessions debacle-related, this is a better place for them), and....what?

Well Claire McCaskill needs to resign immediately for lying also.

No thank you.

Oh, red. If every senator who lied (or "forgot") needed to resign.

She's not the AG overseeing an investigation for someone she worked for, not to mention is now a part of, nor was she under oath. BUT, I will agree that anyone calling Sessions out should make sure they're not surrounded by glass, that's for sure.

It was indeed used as a laughing emoji. The photo literally makes ME laugh when I look at it, it's just so crazy looking!

It along with Trump's ridiculous statement about healthcare was perfection.

It's being reported that Sessions has the "full confidence" of Trump, which, well, of course. Interesting that those same words were used by Conway about Flynn. Bets as to what happens? If he stays on, then the appearance of impropriety is less concerning to them than someone else taking over, and that's worrying, though not surprising.

The utter zeal on the part of the democrats and the media to bring down this administration at all costs is not going unnoticed by people. I just hope the WH keeps their house in order because that will be the only way to have this fade into memory. If they do that and are able to better the economy while keeping promises made during the campaign, I will be happy and consider it a successful presidency.

Well all of this explains why Trumps wants major news outlets to be considered "fake news". This was being discussed last night on CNN. Fox News wasn't discussing it. It sure is interesting to read the comments From Trump supporters.

Sessions could recuse himself from the Russia investigation and this would be a non issue. If investigations into Clinton did not need a special prosecutor then this one does not either.

Don't know about last night, but it's all over the news, including Fox, today.

I agree, Red.

But at least some dems had the dignity to stay and shake hands with Trump after the speech.

And some of them did give him his due that it was well received.

Yea, he should just defer the decision to the FBI ... another wonderful precedent by the previous administration.

CNN and MSNBC were reporting on this last night from 7:30 PM on. My husband turned Fox on and they didn't say a word.

Too funny Jen!

Yes, Fox is very to the right.

But then you have to admit, MSNBC is the leaning tower to the left.

So I then switched to CNN where at least it is semi balanced.

Watching the news conference right now

Watching MSNBC and listening to Greta.

She is explaining it from a legal point not political and I agree with what she is saying that he handled it correctly in recusing himself but there is no need for him to resign.

Just to clarify- do you truly believe this is all a ruse crafted by thousands of media outlets and publications and the majority of the intelligence community?

Actually, I am not happy with Fox right now as they did not discuss it much after he recused himself. I believe they switched to healtcare.

I am now watching MSNBC and with the right anchor they are bringing up good points. So I am sticking with it right now.

Not this particular situation. All of it as a whole. Ruse is not what I said.

I'm truly curious- the whole Russia situation? You said above that it should all be investigated, so how are the Democrats unjustly trying to "bring down the administration" given all the smoke? Did you know that since we've been chatting about this, two more stories about Trump surrogates and contacts with Russia during the election and right after have dropped? That sure is a LOT of contact with a country that we know hacked into and tried to influence our election. Think there was a lot of chiding happening in all these meetings? I guess we'll find out soon enough.

This all seems very much like the tip of the iceberg.

Talks of impeachment before 30 days in and no evidence of anything to even begin those proceedings. The left is rabid to get something on him to get rid of him.

The intelligence community reported that Russia attempted to discredit our democratic election. That's it. It's pure speculation that the Trump campaign colluded with Russian agents.
Does anyone really think that Putin predicted a Trump win? He wanted to embarrass Clinton, whom he expected to win. No doubt Trump's win surprised Putin as much as it did us here on PS.
If the Trump campaign did dirty business with Russian agents, I'd be surprised if our intelligence agencies don't already know. Given all the leaks, I think that would have been leaked if it happened. In any case, this issue is already under investigation, right? So any wrong doing should come to light.
Given the current political climate, I think if anyone in the administration has Russian dressing on their salad, Dems will demand an investigation.
